The new year is right around the corner! Do you have your NYE fit picked out yet? This year I decided to go all out and load on the sequin and sparkles. I have picked out two looks which can hopefully inspire those of you who waited last minute (as I usually do with many tasks in life). Since the holiday season can bring lots of bustle in retail stores, I decided to visit a local secondhand shop. Being sustainably conscious with your holiday look is important since most outfits tend to be worn for just the night, and then never put on again. I encourage you to donate or take your clothing to a local resale shop so that special event fit can be worn once again. My go to shop for these looks are brought to you by Clothes Mentor. Clothes Mentor sells gently used name-brand and designer clothing, shoes, and accessories, but at the fraction of the cost. Most items here can be as high as 70% off retail prices! Here I was able to purchase a necklace, shoes, hot pants, and a dress which are featured below. For this first look I have a cross wrap tie back glitter tank top from Shein. This item I thrifted, and is no longer available on Shein’s website, but they can be found for resale on sites such as Poshmark. I styled the glittery wrap top with a pair of leather hot pants which were purchased from Clothes Mentor, and can also be found on Poshmark for a lower price. I decided to go with an animal print for my shoe choice, which is a bootie style with a 3-inch heel and a zipper on the interior side. These shoes were also purchased at Clothes Mentor, but a similar pair can be found at Walmart. To give some final touches to this look, I added a chunky black statement necklace, black stone accent rings, a black crystal hand chain and wide hole fishnet leggings-which helped to tie this sultry look altogether.
The second look exudes sparkly details. This look features a long sleeved black sequin dress paired with wide hole fishnet leggings and a simple pair of black combat boots (which are always effortlessly in style). I mixed in the combat boots to give this glam look a bit of a rocker edge! Also, when living in the Midwest it gets chilly at night, so I paired this dress with a leopard overcoat (once again with the animal print-obsessed). Finally, onto the dets of the fit! I did some rummaging through my mom’s jewelry box and found a diamond choker necklace and paired it with squared off diamond hoop earrings. I have to say, this is my favorite look of the two. I love how the element of vintage jewelry meets modern styling, but with a touch of grunge. I hope these looks have inspired you to try something new for the NYE celebration ahead. I had so much fun styling these outfits! Remember, you can always find looks for less and remain trendy. Have a safe and fun new year’s fashionistas-style on!

What better way to celebrate the new season then with a classic accessory statement? I was excited to see pearls making a comeback for the fall/winter season. In fact, it seems that pearls have become quite mainstream in several different fashion outlets. According to Cosmopolitan, an abundance of pearls has become one of the top 6 winter jewelry trends for 2021. We can expect to see them in many different shapes and styles. Don’t think so much about your grandmother’s string pearl necklace (sorry grandma), but this season expect to see them upgraded to fit a more modern aesthetic. Naturally, I had to join in on this trend. My first step was finding a unique piece that I liked, and I also wanted to support a small business. Thank you to the power of technology, I was able to find a shop on Instagram (Bubble & Bead), which appeared to fit my ideal style. This small business is a jewelry brand that promotes ‘handmade jewelry, for the everyday girl’ (bubbleandbead). The brand really spoke to me for several reasons. First, I was able to purchase high quality jewelry at a very reasonable price and knowing that my piece was being handmade per my order gives it a special one-of-a-kind feeling. I ended up purchasing the Isla necklace(s), which included both lengths of 15in and 18in with a $10 discount since I purchased them as a set. The necklaces feature 24k gold filled paperclip chain links, interchanged with sets of freshwater pearls. Click this link to check out my piece on the website! I truly adore all the pieces the shop has to offer. I would recommend giving Bubble and Bead a visit. I decided to stick with a classic look while double layering my new necklace. I threw on an oversized silk button down in a neutral chocolate color and paired it with a beige open front cardigan. For bottoms, I matched a similar color to the top with a pair of Lululemon align leggings to complete this monochromatic fall color scheme. I added a pair of nude pumps to add a bit of height to the entire look. I kept the earrings simple with a small set of hoops, I really wanted the necklace to take front stage as the accessory statement of this look.
Now that summer is over, we need to start gearing up for our next season! Even though the cold weather might be blowing in-in the Midwest, let’s keep the fashion looking hot. The moment we have all been waiting for has finally arrived! It’s summer. Which means late nights, beach days and cute outfits. I have styled three vintage looks to try this summer. These looks were a bit out of my comfort zone, since my style tends to be more athleisure/basics. But life is all about pushing yourself outside of your comfort zone and discovering new ideas! Here are some looks I tried, and hopefully these inspire you to put together a few of your own. This first look incorporates a sheer, low-cut button-down blouse with scrunch detailing towards the end of the sleeves and midsection. I paired the blouse with mid-length white denim shorts along with vintage inspired white heels, to add a pop of feminine flair. I kept the accessories mild; incorporating a simple gold necklace and a neutral-colored tote with some flowers that were purchased from the market. The second look maintains the same white shorts but adds a pop of red tones. The top is a sleeveless blouse and is red with white flowers, which helps to tie in the shorts and patent red sling back heels. Pops of red are also seen with my lipstick and nail polish, which helps to tie together the vintage feel of this look. Accessories were minimal with this outfit; I tied a black scarf half up in my hair for a French chic inspired ‘do. This last look is a classic pink tight-fit ribbed dress with a keyhole front and tie. The flowers were brought back into a few shots to carry the feminine aesthetic. I am also seen wearing the white vintage heels, to convey the light feminine look. For accessories with this outfit, I chose a muted floral headband with like colors. Some shots I paired with translucent pink sunglasses for a real summer vibe (someone cue the sunglasses emoji). Let’s go girls, it’s hot girl summer!
I recently embarked on a trip to Indianapolis, in search of vintage finds. What I found did not disappoint! A friend and I visited several shops downtown. On our last shop of the day (Zodiac Vintage), I found the perfect item! An over-sized, 100% silk vintage blouse. This piece was one of a kind and can be worn several different ways. Let’s get to it! First look: Here I have a business casual look. I paired the blouse with straight-leg dress pants and layered the top with a black tank. To finish off this look I added blue iridescent earrings to highlight the beautiful coloring in the blouse. Pair it with some black pumps, and you’re ready to take on the workday! Second look: This outfit pairing is super casual, yet chic. Utilizing the blouse as a dress, I paired it with black biker shorts, and added a black belt with a silver buckle to add some shape. I rolled the sleeves back a bit as well. To finish off this look I included silver hoops, and platform sandals. This look can be worn on a casual date night. Third look: This look is sure to bring some edgy vibes. Here I tied up the blouse, paired it with a black bralette and leather leggings. I unbuttoned the sleeve cuffs, to give more flow to the top. For my footwear, I chose chunky heeled booties. Top off this look with some statement earrings. Ready to rock! Fourth look: For this last look I wanted something casual, yet sophisticated. I paired the blouse with a flowy black dress, and kept it completely unbuttoned. Pair it with some nautical blue heels and small statement earrings. This outfit would be great for a casual dinner party. Hopefully some of these looks have inspired you to try them yourself. I recommend checking out Zodiac Vintage in downtown Indianapolis, IN if you’re ever in the area and looking for a good vintage buy!
Happy Earth Day 2020 everyone! This celebration of Earth Day is unlike any we have recognized in the past years. Our world is going through a global pandemic and amidst all this human suffering, the animals are thriving and pollution is down, for the first time in awhile. While we still have a long way to go, the fashionistas/os of the world can help do their part by recognizing and supporting sustainable brands. So this brings in the question: in the fashion industry, how can we help our earth and make sure we continue to make progress? So what is sustainable fashion?Sustainable fashion can be defined as clothing, shoes and accessories that are manufactured, marketed and used in the most sustainable manner possible, taking into account both environmental and socio-economic aspects. In practice, this implies continuous work to improve all stages of the product’s life cycle, from design, raw material production, manufacturing, transport, storage, marketing and final sale, to use, reuse, repair, remake and recycling of the product and its components. This definition is from Dr. Brismar, the extended explanation can be found on Green Strategy. Companies have the opportunity to contribute to a more sustainable functioning system. Some companies have even initiated rental systems, or secondhand fashion (Poshmark, Depop, Rent The Runway, etc), for leasing clothing and/or accessories. Check out these businesses via mobile app or website. Other companies focus on using high quality materials and designs to ensure their product is long-lasting (Lululemon and Patagonia). Some brands choose to have collection and recycling systems which support improved textile recycling (H&M). (Green Strategy) my top 4 favorite sustainable fashion companies4. Patagonia This brand has always been known to be reliable and durable. I learned that on their website you can purchase items secondhand! They do use sustainable materials in their outerwear, but they will also help customers repair their clothing instead of buying something new. I think this speaks volume. They are out to help the environment, not just for the money that could easily be made on a new piece. They follow fair-trade practices and keep a close watch on their supply chain to make sure it is safe for the environment, workers and customers. Patagonia’s goal is to try and find solutions to environmental issues without causing harm to the environment. This can all be made possible, due to the durability of their products. (Forbes) 3. Levi's One pair of jeans takes over 2,000 gallons of water. This water is used for growing the cotton, to dyeing and finishing. Levi’s is committed to using 96% less water during the finishing processes to remove water whenever possible to make their items in the Water<Less collection. Levi’s is still a major influence in the denim industry, initiatives like this can have a large impact in the industry. They also share their in-depth sustainability commitments during the whole product lifecycle. (goodhousekeeping) Video credit 2. Free People Free people has began to make a focused effort towards eco-conscious materials in their products. One collection, named Econyl (launched April 2019), included products made from 100% regenerated nylon, which was collected from landfills and oceans. For every 10,000 tons of Econyl raw material, 70,000 barrels of crude oil are saved, and 57,100 tons of CO2 emissions are avoided. They are moving towards working with a wider range of brand partner products which are made with eco-conscious fabrics, support artisan techniques and nonprofit contributions. (FP SUSTAINABLE PRODUCT) 1. H&M Conscious Collection Items found in the Conscious collection help support the environment, materials such as recycled polyester and organic cotton are used. These styles are also budget friendly, starting at just $10, which is why H&M is my go-to for all my product needs. Another great perk H&M offers is 'The Garment Collection Program' which is program for recycling your unwanted clothing at any of their stores, and the best part is receiving a discount card to buy some new products! Any brand can be brought in, any condition, even those worn-out tees that have been hiding in the bottom of your drawer. H&M claims they use 57% recycled or sustainably sourced fibers. Their goal is to reach 100% by 2030. (goodhousekeeping) Do your part...You can help support sustainable fashion by researching brands and how they support ethical fashion practices, really dive into the details on how they are moving towards a sustainable practice. I believe it’s important to support these fashion brands because by supporting the brand(s), you are supporting your earth.
Now, I know when we think of sustainable product we think of bland, unappealing clothing. This is not always necessarily the case. Within the past 20 years, fashion has proved to advance with textile improvements. Just imagine where we could be in another 20 years with fashion! The possibilities are endless. Everyone knows that outfit trends are always evolving and changing, but what about the accessories that pair with an outfit? Michael Kors said it best when he exclaimed, "I've always thought of accessories as the exclamation point of a woman's outfit." This quote speaks volume in an ever changing fashion industry, we are always looking for the latest and most stylish trend. This new accessory trend is more than just a fashion statement, it is a way of life. Pura Vida has come a long way in the past few years. Here is the story of an accessory brand that has inspired me, and kept me coming back for more! When it all began..It was the summer of 2010- Two friends from Southern California- Griffin Thall and Paul Goodman- went on a trip to Costa Rica. Griffin and Paul quickly fell in love with the lifestyle. The breathtaking sunsets, perfect waves for surfing, unique beach towns and friendly people were the highlights of the trip. One day after surfing, these two friends came across two artisans named Jorge and Joaquin, they had colorful string bracelets, which captured the essence of Costa Rica; simple beauty. Unfortunately, Jorge and Joaquin were struggling to make a living as artisans. Griffin and Paul wanted to help these men out somehow, so they asked the artisans to make 400 bracelets for them to take home. [Our Story] Meanwhile, back in San Diego..Griffin and Paul were able to put these bracelets on display at a local boutique, and they sold out within the week. But these bracelets were more than just a friendship bracelet, they symbolized a movement, to celebrate the little things in life- “Pura Vida”, which translates into “pure life” in Spanish. Pura Vida is more than just a saying, it’s a lifestyle. This lifestyle represents enjoying the little moments that life has to offer, and just living life to the fullest extent. Griffin and Paul wanted to spread the joy and spirit of Pura Vida, to do so, they teamed up with Jorge and Joaquin and several other Costa Rican artisans. They were able to create handcrafted bracelets in several color combinations, making sure each one was unique. [Our Story] Pura Vida quickly grew in popularity.. from selling a few bracelets a week, to now having a global movement with millions of bracelets sold each year. This movement had a positive impact on more than 800 artisans in various communities such as Costa Rica, El Salvador, India and more. They can all depend on having a steady income and a safe work environment due to all the support from Pura Vida fans. Giving back is a core principle of Pura Vida. They are always looking for new ways to give back and more charities to support. To do this, they created the Charity Collection. They have partnered with more than 175 charities around the world to donate more than $2 million to causes we care about over the past few years. [Our Story] I added a photo of a bracelet pack that deals with anxiety disorder awareness, 5% of proceeds go to help Anxiety & Depression Association of America. This is something I personally struggle with, and it's good to see awareness being brought to this disorder. Pura Vida has your essential accessory needs! They sell everything from bracelets, rings, necklaces, anklets and even monthly subscriptions! The subscriptions include a monthly bracelet club and/or monthly jewelry club. Visit this link to find out more about these exclusive subscriptions and pricing. The perks don’t stop there! Anytime you check on their website, a coupon for 10% off or more will appear on the bottom of the screen. Get even more lucky and spend a certain $$ amount to get free shipping. (for my last purchase I spent $35 and received free shipping!) Another sweet deal you can get is, during checkout you have the option to select a mystery bracelet for $4 or a mystery ring for $8! After completing your purchase and receiving your product(s), you'll notice another small surprise! I'll leave that up to you to discover. My monthly bracelet subscription-March always on trend..Some current trends they feature on their homepage include; engravable jewelry (that can be totally customized to your liking), style packs and more! Pura Vida can also be seen in local small businesses around California. The owner of Urban Beach House, which is located near Del Mar, was interviewed by a Pura Vida representative for having a large representation of the brand. This local shop carries a lot of goodies from Pura Vida! Click this link to watch the full interview on Instagram! Recently, I noticed fashion models bringing back the iconic 'body chain' look. I have yet to try this look myself, but after seeing Haley Bieber and Bella Hadid rocking this look, I totally want to give it a try! Body chains are mostly paired with swim wear, but they can also be worn under a crop top, or with an open neck top with a deep cut. If you style them over clothing, they can add a nice touch to a plain black dress or top. After doing much research on hand-made body chains by small shops vs. mass produced ones, I discovered handmade jewelry gives more of a personal individualized look. Mass produced jewelry is quick to receive and less expensive, but it lacks the personal appeal that you get when having a custom made piece of jewelry. store bought body jewelryIf you prefer the quick delivery time and are on a tight budget, my top two places to check out for amazing body chain designs are ellechic.com and asos.com. The jewelry that is purchased from a store (mass produced) or online can be deemed more affordable, as mentioned before, but the draw back here is that the pieces sold through these stores might lack high quality materials. SWCreations (a handmade jewelry company) had their own take on mass produced jewelry. According to SWCreations: '...it doesn’t represent American pride, nor does it support the small business owner. Large chain retailers are wonderful for the general population. They make shopping easier and more affordable for middle-class society, but many items you see at these stores are imported. Quality is poor and the small business owner struggles to support his family—often putting them out of business.' handcrafted body jewelryWhen it comes to supporting small businesses who handmade their own jewelry, I am all in! I love being able to express my individuality with a piece that is specially made and one-of-a-kind! Prices for these pieces cost a little bit more than usual, but are always worth it. I would rather have a piece of quality jewelry that makes me feel individualized. Lilliya Body Chain: It is handmade from repurposed vintage components. Click here to check this piece out! This hand-crafted jewelry business, ASTALI is known for it's unique materials and jewelry that gives you a sense of individuality, by making each piece different and special. ASTALI uses natural and re-purposed materials, therefore each piece will vary slightly from the next. They '..see variations and imperfections as assets, not defects.' These beautiful pieces are hand-made with care in South Pasadena, CA. Fun fact: Staple designs ASTALI uses include 'rugged and unexpected materials - snake vertebrae, buffalo teeth, vintage peepshow tokens, porcupine quills, recycled bullet casings, leather fringe, feathers, fool's gold, and much more.' Check out their website for more unique jewelry! handmade layered body chainA popular website we are all pretty familiar with, Etsy, which is an e-commerce website focused on handmade or vintage items and craft supplies, has really good finds for body chains. I've found several good deals here, as well as other unique items I couldn't get anywhere else! (not to mention, you are supporting small businesses!) Click here to shop this piece! NudeByGrace on Etsy is where I found this amazing piece at. There are several body chains to choose from on her Etsy page, and they are all handmade. She even does custom orders! Go give her page some love at NudeByGrace. Is it possible for an organization to target a specific look, while also giving back? Of course it's possible! There are several organizations that give a portion of proceeds from their product(s) to a specific charity, community, etc. I think that these orgs have evolved over the years, from basic looks, to trendy products which aesthetically attracts us to them. When a product is purchased from an organization whose main intention is to 'give back', you can feel at ease knowing that your monetary contribution will make a positive impact. Does any specific organization come to mind when you think of this? TOMS perhaps. They are widely known for donating a pair of shoes to someone less fortunate anytime you buy yourself a pair. But that's not where the giving back stops. For more information on how TOMS gives back, visit their website. I believe paying it forward is very important. Standing up for something you strongly believe in is what makes us all unique as individuals. That's why I wanted to call attention to 3 of my very first organizations that I have started and continue to support, as they all hold a special place in my heart (and closet). 3. Ivory EllaClick here to shop this top! I remember awhile back when this organization was first founded. I bought one of their first crop top tie-dye t-shirts in an effort to contribute some of my money to help save the elephants, along with the shirt, of course. Ivory Ella was launched on April 18th 2015 and they have donated (so far) $1,600,000 to savetheelephants.org and other charitable causes. [Ivory Ella] According to Ivory Ella: "We donate 10% of net profits to savetheelephants.org! Our donations aid in the research of elephant behavior and ecology, the protection of elephants from ivory poachers and traffickers, and in raising awareness of the plight of the elephants." You can always feel secure knowing a percent of proceeds go to fund, not only the elephants, but other causes as well. 2. SerengeteeSerengetee holds a special place within my soul. When I was in college, I joined their rep program and helped spread the message behind these 'pocket tees', where you wear fabrics from around the world and proceeds go to help several different charitable causes. Here is what the two founders Jeff and Max had to say about Serengetee: "But from day one, the mission has always been at the heart of what we make, where we travel, and how we give back.By purchasing fabric from over 25 countries, we support artisans, their families, and ancient fabric making traditions. By giving 10% of our profits back to grassroots causes, we work to improve lives in their communities. There's a story behind every product we make, so when you wear Serengetee, you are truly wearing a piece of the world. So we'll continue to travel and explore, looking for the next story to tell about our artisan friends or a cause that inspires us. After all, we wouldn't be here without them." [From Our Story-Serengetee] From their first pocket tee 7 years ago, they now carry other times such as, water bottles, hair scrunchies (which are totally adorable!) and several other trendy products. Check them out at serengetee.com! 1. sand cloudSand Cloud is helping to address one of the most under-spoken issues we are currently facing as an economy: saving our oceans from pollution. As a society we tend to overlook water pollution and littering, but these actions are having a seriously negative side-effect on our marine life and precious oceans. They have made it their mission to donate 10% of their proceeds to help keep our oceans clean and our marine life happy and healthy! Sand Cloud got its start in 2014 after pitching an idea on 'Shark Tank'. Three friends had an idea to reinvent the beach towel by elevating its design, to do this, they used sustainable materials. The beach towels consisted of a sand-resistant, ultra-absorbent Turkish cotton. [From Sand Cloud- About Us] My first product purchased from Sand Cloud was one of these beach towels, and I must say, it has become my go-to. Not only do they carry beach towels, they also carry a range of other ocean friendly products, such as metal straws, reusable water bottles, leggings and more! Check them out at sandcloud.com! Find an organization that believes in making a positive impact on this earth and go support them! I believe it is essential that we are kind to one another and give back in any way that is possible, whether big or small, anything helps. Get inspired and stay inspired!
Now that we have dived into 2020, it's time to address the trends that we saw during the 2020 spring/summer fashion weeks in New York, London, Paris and Milan. After reviewing several looks from fashion week, I was able to pick out 6 of them that I can style and actually see myself wearing! Let's begin the countdown with... 6. CrochetPhoto Credit: EDWARD BERTHELOTGETTY IMAGES I love how Gabriel Union pulls off this look so effortlessly! I've always been a huge fan of crochet, from bathing suits to swim coverups. But! This time we are shown that these 'coverups' can we worn as dresses. Pair your crochet dress with a sports bra and shorts underneath for a chic effortless look. The footwear you decide to choose for your outfit will depend on what direction you want to take the outfit. For a more casual look, pick up a pair of tassel sandals. For a more formal look like Gabriel, choose a pair of open toed heels/wedges. 5. hot pantsPhoto Credit: Brandon Maxwell VICTOR VIRGILE and GETTY IMAGES Hot pants brings back the classic, 'Who wears short shorts?' In this case I would say they are hot (under) pants? This look is sure to draw attention to your legs and make them the statement piece of any outfit. Choose a long-sleeved blouse with a pair of hot pants and some knee high boots to create a versatile look. 4. colorful leatherPhoto Credit: Max Mara GETTY IMAGES I am already obsessed with dark leathers for fall/winter, but now we have pastel/lighter colored leathers for spring/summer? Count me in. I picked this look from Max Mara because pastel pink is one of my absolute favorite colors. Pink reaches my inner feminine side, that is also why I picked a pink mini skirt paired with knee high boots for a look I would style. Photo Credit: Lulus Pssst, this mini skirt is vegan leather! 3. trench coatsPhoto Credit: Alberta Ferretti I've always had such a loving relationship with trench coats. My vintage black leather coat is my go-to for fall/winter, but as the weather (slowly) warms up, I'll need something more light-weight. Trench coats are amazing. Not only are they practical, but they come in several different options; styles, lengths and materials. It was hard to pick just one, but I decided on one from ASOS. I picked this trench coat because it is versatile, it can be dressed up with heels or dressed down with sneakers. Click this link to shop this look! 2. big bagsSo long to those itty-bitty bags from 2019! Now is the time to bust out your large handbags (can fit more snacks, make-up, etc) so this is a win-win! I've always been a fan of larger handbags, or I would just carry a small wristlet around, no in-between for me. The bag I chose is from Madewell. This bag can be worn as a cross body or shoulder bag with its adjustable strap. The leather handbag gives off a vintage 60's, 70's vibe, which I totally dig. Click this link to shop this item! 1. bras as outerwearThis look I picked of Bella Hadid on the runway is a more subtle look of 'bra as outerwear'. This 'fit looks like a cropped-strapless top pair with a side-slit maxi skirt, but that's what makes this one of my favorite looks for this trend. There are other looks that pair a bra with a sport coat and trousers, which I MIGHT be able to pull off (summer body pending). This is the ideal 'bra as outerwear' look... Click this link to shop this look! For a RTW look, check out the above image. From crochet dresses to bras, I hope my top 6 style trends for 2020 have inspired you to try a few new looks!
How is athleisure even defined? There is much controversy on how this word came about, some theories are tracing back to the late 19th century! The theory we associate with the most occurred in the late 20th century when Lululemon defined athleisure with their state-of-the-art, 'second skin' yoga pants. A little back story on Lululemon, all starts with retail entrepreneur Chip Wilson. In 1997, he was a having back problems, so he decided to try out a yoga class. During Wilson's first yoga session, he wasn't stunned by the poses, rather the pants his yoga instructor was wearing. The pants, which were some sort of slinky dance attire, almost like a second skin, made the person's butt look amazing! Wilson then felt inspired to mass-produce this vision, and have great looking butts everywhere (so to speak). The following year, he started a yoga design-and-fashion business, and the first store opened in Vancouver. This store was called Lululemon. (source: The Atlantic) Photo Credit: Lulumeon Align 28" pant With Lululemon being my top choice for althleisure, there are a few other places I would check out as well. Okay, here is my top 5! 5. gymsharkI absolutely love Gymshark. They are always coming out with unique gym attire, that is both flattering and practical. Photo Credit: Gymshark 4. Free people- Movement(fp movement)Fp Movement has become on my radar recently for athleisure, mainly because of the effortless boho look. Fp Movement also has a very subtle and chic color palette which is another reason I am attracted to this brand. Photo Credit: Fp Movement 3. BuffBunny CollectionThis collection is by a fitness model. I like to support small businesses by buying pieces from her collection, not to mention, the collection is super stylish and is always on point with the latest trends. Photo Credit: BuffBunny 2. alo yogaAlo Yoga is my go-to for basics. They stick to darker hues, but include trendy cuts without sacrificing the integrity of the clothing itself. Photo Credit: Alo Yoga 1. LululemonAs stated above, Lululemon is the first place I stop when it comes to the perfect athleisure look. I can count on them to have the best materials while combining aesthetic appeal to any piece of their collection. This last look I decided to use a picture of me in a pair of Lulumeon leggings and a Lulu sports bra. Get this look: Lulumeon I hope my suggestions help guide you in a direction that will make you want to try this trendy athleisure look. This look is becoming widely popular with celebrities, such as Rihanna, Kylie Jenner and Hailey Bieber, to just name a few. So what are you waiting for? Get out, get inspired and start styling.
